Maritime Montering Gets Contract for Accommodation Outfitting of Six Vessels being built by Udupi Cochin Shipyard for Wilson Shipowning AS
Recently, Udupi Cochin Shipyard commenced work for six 3,800 dwt newbuild vessels for Norwegian shipping company Wilson Ship owning AS, a key player in the European short-sea shipping market.
The complete interior and outfitting of all six vessels at Udupi Cochin Shipyard will be undertaken by Maritime Montering, the Norwegian Group through its companies in India and Romania.
The first vessel is scheduled for delivery by early 2025. Maritime Montering India, in collaboration with Maritime Montering Romania, will commence outfitting of the vessels with the latest maritime accommodations solutions, ensuring efficiency, safety, and sustainability of the working environment for crew.

Project Overview
The six dry cargo vessels are being built at Udupi Cochin Shipyard, a facility renowned for its advanced shipbuilding capabilities. These vessels are part of Wilson Shipowning AS’s ongoing fleet expansion and modernization strategy, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and environmental sustainability.
The vessels are designed to adapt to a wide range of fuel and energy types going forward, that makes them environmentally friendly. The “Future proof Dry Cargo Vessel” are expected to enhance Wilson Shipowning AS’s fleet capabilities, supporting their operations across various international routes and commitment to a sustainable maritime industry.
Maritime Montering is selected for the turnkey accommodation of all 6 cargo vessels which includes: interior, accommodation of living, working and technical spaces.
MM Romania office as a material supply hub, will ensure that only the highest quality materials are sourced and delivered promptly. Meanwhile, MM India office will leverage its specialized expertise in installation to guarantee that each vessel is outfitted to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
