About the Role

As a Foreman in Maritime Montering , you will play a crucial role in overseeing the installation of ship interiors. You will lead and motivate a team of operators and fitters, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and with the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the production and assembly of ship interiors, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Plan daily work tasks and allocate resources for optimal project execution.
  • Lead and support operators/fitters, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
  • Participate in construction meetings, report progress, and propose efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure seamless project execution.

Your Qualifications

  • Relevant vocational certificate (carpenter, joiner, ship fitter, or similar). Extensive experience can compensate for a lack of formal education.
  • Proven experience as a Foreman or Supervisor, ideally in ship interiors or the maritime sector.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and documentation.
  • Preferably, experience with CAD software.
  • Hands-on experience with ship interior installations, materials, and tools.
  • Strong communication skills in English (Polish and Norwegian language skills are an advantage).
  • Organized, solution-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently.
