Maritime Montering Signs Contract with CRIST S.A for OSV Outfitting
Maritime Montering has been awarded a contract by CRIST S.A for the interior outfitting and turnkey accommodation of the Sea Dragon, an innovative offshore support vessel (OSV).
The 109.7-meter vessel is scheduled for delivery to DOF in the first quarter of 2027 and will work offshore Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Designed to accommodate a 164-member crew, the Sea Dragon will provide critical services such as crew changes, drilling support, field safety standby, emergency towing, and ice management.
The Sea Dragon concept, developed by MMC Ship Design & Marine Consulting Ltd, represents the next generation of OSVs, blending advanced technology with exceptional operational capabilities.
Maritime Montering’s scope of work will commence in Q3 2025, focusing on the complete interior outfitting and accommodation. All works will be carried out at the CRIST shipyard in Gdynia, Poland, by Maritime Montering’s experienced local team. Strategically positioned near key Polish shipyards, the team will bring their expertise in accommodation solutions to ensure a superior onboard environment for the vessel’s crew.
“We are honored to contribute to this significant project,” commented Pawel Walczak, Project Manager at Maritime Montering Poland. “While the CRIST team focuses on building a vessel that ensures the highest standards of safety in offshore environments, we are committed to delivering outstanding work and living spaces for the crew, supporting them in their vital missions at sea.”
